- 2 - What is the discharge head?

It is the maximum vertical height to which the pump can discharge water.
- 3 - What is the suction head?

It is the maximum vertical height between the pump and the vessel containing the condensates, beyond which the pump can no longer suck up water.
- 4 - What are charged condensates?

The detection levels of piston pump (SI 1082 monoblock pump with in-built detection) and the SI 2958 detector (supplied with the SI 3080, SI 3100, SI 3200, SI 1730 and PE 5200 pumps) are measured from their lower face when laid flat.

- 5 - What is the purpose of the vent tube?

The vent tube is necessary to allow air to enter the detector when the pump is sucking up water inside. The float is therefore not limited in its movement.
It is recommended to position the pump so that the level of the vent tube is above the level of the water tank, which avoids any leaks through the vent in the case of a condensate removal malfunction.

The SI 1805 and SI 1820 pumps can receive condensates of maximum T = 80°C - pH
